Weekly themes will be used to immerse each camper into creative art, music, drama, math/science, literature and field experiences. The following is a summary of each weekly theme. Students can be enrolled for one week or all! Below is a sample of our weekly summer themes.
.Dig into the Past.......Junior archaeologists get involved in fossil hunts, ice fossils and print creations as they journey into the land of the dinosaur.
.Creepy Crawlers.......Six and eight legged creatures will be created using various materials.
.Around the Campfire.......Patriotic cowboys and cowgirls will celebrate life in the Old West. Candle making, mat weaving and much more make this week a fun-filled experience.
.Art Mania......Weaving, clay works, ceramic projects, stained glass, and charcoal drawings will inspire young artists.
.Planes, Trains, and Machines that Amaze.......Future engineers and scientists explore rocket launching, creating hand gliders, kite making and simple machines.
.Down on the Farm.......Square dancing, making butter and ice cream, and exploring plants that grow on farms are all explored with the American Farm in mind.
.Science on My Mind.......Ooblic, tornado displays, solar engergy and magnetic fields will be topics that young scientists will enjoy studying.
.Ahoy, Matey!.......Calling all pirates ... wooden treasure chests crafts, pirate medallion treasure hunts, aquarium crafts, sea animal exploration.
.Under the Big Top.......Our last week of camp ends with an indoor carnival. Face painting, carnival games, puppet shows and much, much more!
